Couples who are facing the end of their marriages have gone through painful times together. It makes sense that irretrievably broken marriages can be very hard on couples and their families. Divorce mediation and divorce coaching are available through Synergy Coaching LLC.
Broken hearts, broken dreams, broken ideals, and broken commitments can leave us with a lot of pain that we bring to discussions that surround divorce. This pain often contributes to the difficulties that parties have when trying to get through the necessary conversations surrounding divorce. It is crucial to have difficult discussions in a productive manner, especially when there are children and pets involved. Allison can help both parties have the difficult conversations that are needed in order to not only find their way through divorce, but also help establish ongoing productive patterns of communication for future contexts.
Sometimes, couples have been in emotional pain for so long that they can no longer be in the same room together. E-mediation, virtual mediation, can be especially helpful in these contexts. In addition to that, mediation coaching may be something to consider as a preparation for completing divorce documents and finalizing the dissolution of marriage. There are many reasons why marriages do not work out. Mediation, pre-mediation coaching, and post-mediation coaching can be one way to help parties move forward so that your future interactions can feel better than what you feel right now.
Parties who have children in the home have a responsibility to provide the best transition they can for their children. It can be painful for children to experience their parents divorcing. When it comes to parenting plans, you will be asked to make decisions that are in the best interest of your children. With that as your lens, parenting plans can better meet their needs and communicate to your children how important they really are to you. Let's work to send a positive message to your children.
There are no guarantees for mediation outcomes, and there are no reliable percentages of "success "for mediation sessions. What I offer as a mediator is a strategic approach to help parties settle their disputes. Parties are responsible for finding their solutions. The mediator is responsible for the skilled facilitation that can help you get to an agreeable solution. After mediation, post-mediation or post-mediation coaching may be a helpful strategy for maintaining ongoing success.
The best preparation for mediation is to think about the areas that you may be most flexible in, and then to think about what your alternative could be to your first-choice scenario. Working on creating agreements in your community through mediation can be reparative and cost less than litigation fees.
* Mediation coaching is separate from mediation services, and they are not combined.
